Fooda Trading W.L.L. is a Bahrain-based food trading company built on a long family tradition of trust, quality, and service dating back to the 1950s. From a small shop on Sh. Abdulla Road in Manama to a growing food trading company, our journey is rooted in passion, heritage, and a commitment to serving our community with the finest products.
Fooda Trading was officially established in 1978 by Mr. Alawi Al Mahfoodh, drawing on over four decades of experience in Bahrain's ports and trade sector. Over the years, the company diversified across real estate, cargo clearing, and manpower recruitment before returning to its core strength in food trading. In 2025, the company was restructured as Fooda Trading W.L.L., focusing on food products and brand development, carrying forward a legacy of honesty, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
One of Fooda's key brands is Suwalif Tea, established in 2017 by Mr. Maher Alawi Al Mahfoodh. What started as a personal passion for natural tea has grown into a promising brand specializing in blends free from artificial colors and flavors. Today, Fooda Trading continues to grow by supplying quality food products and developing trusted brands, staying true to the family values that have guided us for over 60 years.
